Prepare for a visit: Everyone entering our facilities is screened, and visitors are limited. Face coverings are mandatory. Please contact us first before going to any of our locations. For some needs, you may be able to get care at home by phone or video.
For the latest coronavirus information: Visit the CDC website.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, our “no visitor” policy changes to “one visitor per day per patient”. Per day refers to “inpatient”. Each Veteran walking in is allowed one visitor to accompany them. All visitors must be over the age of 16.
For scheduled appointments, please use VEText. Text "Here" to 53079, using your cell phone, when you get to the VA and wait for further instructions sent by text before entering the facility.
For an expedited COVID 19 screening process, please use VEText. Text "Screen" to 53079, using your cell phone, and complete the survey. Show that screen to the screener as you enter the building.
Even though the state is slowly reopening, the Western Colorado Health Care System is in the early phases of opening back up services that were rescheduled due to Coronavirus. We are currently still seeing patients via telehealth when appropriate and only taking face-to-face appointments as deemed medically necessary.
Please be patient with us as we ramp back up our services and start to see patients regularly. These measures and protocols are for the safety of our Veterans and staff. Please call ahead to your respective site for any questions. Learn more.
